Siauliai signs center Efton Reid III

Siauliai has announced the signing of center Efton Reid III, who will strengthen the Lithuanian club’s frontcourt for the 2026-27 season.

Reid III, a 6-foot-10 center born in 2002, joins Siauliai after his first professional season, which he split between Finland’s Kobrat and Poland’s Stal Ostrow Wielkopolski.

With Kobrat, he dominated the Finnish league, averaging 17.0 points and 10.7 rebounds per game in 23 appearances. In February, he moved to Stal Ostrow Wielkopolski, where he posted 3.6 points and 4.8 rebounds per game in 11 games.

Three-time Slam Dunk Contest winner Mac McClung joins FIATC Girona

Three-time NBA Slam Dunk Contest champion Mac McClung is heading to Europe for the first time in his career after spending the past five seasons primarily in the G League chasing his NBA dream.

Girona has officially announced the signing of the point guard on a one-year contract.

Club sporting director Fernando San Emeterio commented on the move:

“Mac is a player who can operate both as a point guard and a shooting guard. His main strength is his scoring ability; he has been a scorer throughout his entire career. He can create his own shots and score in the paint, from mid-range and also from beyond the three-point line. Another quality we really value is his ability to create for his teammates. Now the challenge is to transfer all this potential to European basketball.”

McClung arrives after a season split between the Windy City Bulls and the Chicago Bulls, in which he was named G League MVP for the second time, averaging 31.8 points, 7.9 assists, 51% from the field, 38% from three-point range and 78% from the free-throw line.

Boogie Ellis Joins Joventut Badalona

Joventut Badalona has strengthened its backcourt with the signing of Boogie Ellis.

The talented point guard will wear the Penya jersey until June 30, 2027.

Ellis spent the 2025-26 season between Dubai, ALBA Berlin and Galatasaray. With Dubai, he made his EuroLeague debut, averaging 10.4 points per game in 17 minutes.

Baskonia signs point guard Damion Baugh to Multi-Year Deal

Baskonia has officially announced the signing of American point guard Damion Baugh. The 25-year-old has agreed to a two-year contract with an option for a third season.

Baugh arrives in Vitoria after spending last season with the Valley Suns in the G League, where he averaged 22.4 points, 5.9 rebounds, 8.0 assists and 2.1 steals in 34 appearances.

A product of the University of Memphis, Baugh also made his NBA debut with the Charlotte Hornets. He previously made history in the Basketball Africa League with Al Ahly, becoming the first player ever to record a triple-double in the competition while also setting the single-game assist record with 18.

Dubai makes renewed push for Thomas Walkup

Despite boasting a deep roster at every position, Dubai’s ambitious offseason is far from over.

According to Athletiko, the club has submitted a new offer to Olympiacos for Thomas Walkup. In addition to more than €1 million in cash, Dubai is reportedly willing to include one of the forwards who is no longer part of head coach Xavi Pascual’s plans for next season.

Olympiacos’ intentions remain unclear, while Walkup himself is said to be determined to make the move. Several Greek media outlets report that Dubai has offered the veteran guard a three-year contract worth $9 million, roughly double his current salary.

Should negotiations ultimately fall through, Dubai is expected to shift its focus to Nick Weiler-Babb, another player reportedly on his way out of ASVEL.

Adam Mokoka Joins ARIS BC on a Two-Year Deal

ARIS BC announces the signing of Adam Mokoka, who has agreed to a contract with the club through 2028.

Adam Mokoka was born on July 18, 1998. Standing at 1.96m, he plays at both shooting guard and small forward.

The French international began his basketball career with Gravelines, winning two U21 championships with the club in 2014 and 2015. He also played professionally for the French team for three seasons, from 2015 to 2018.

In the summer of 2018, he signed with Serbia’s Mega Basket, where he averaged 11.1 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.3 steals per game.

In 2019, he made the move to the NBA after joining the Chicago Bulls, averaging 2.9 points. He also recorded 10.9 points, 5.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game for their G League affiliate, the Windy City Bulls. During the 2020–21 season, he spent time with the Chicago Bulls, the San Antonio Spurs and the Spurs’ affiliate, the Austin Spurs.

For the 2021–22 season, he returned to Europe to play for French side Nanterre, averaging 11.3 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.

He spent most of the 2022–23 season with the Oklahoma City Thunder’s G League affiliate, the Oklahoma City Blue, where he averaged 13.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists. He completed the season in Italy with Umana Venezia.

In 2023, he joined U-BT Cluj-Napoca. He remained with the Romanian club for two seasons, helping them win two consecutive domestic championships, one Romanian Cup and reach the BKT EuroCup quarter-finals twice.

In his first season, he averaged 9.3 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists across 52 appearances. In his second season, he recorded 11.1 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1 steal per game across 55 appearances.

In 2025, he returned to France to join JL Bourg. He enjoyed an outstanding season with the French club, leading them to the BKT EuroCup title and earning Finals MVP honours against Besiktas. Mokoka also scored the game-winning basket in the second and decisive game of the Finals.

In 54 appearances for JL Bourg, he averaged 12.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1 steal per game.

AEK Athens signs Landers Nolley II

AEK Athens has strengthened its backcourt with the arrival of Landers Nolley II.

The 26-year-old finished the 2025-26 season as the second-leading scorer in France’s BetClic Elite, averaging 19.5 points per game while shooting 38% from three-point range for Nancy. He also contributed 4.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.3 steals per contest.

Nolley II then moved to Syria, where he posted averages of 21.5 points, 5.9 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game with Al Ittihad Aleppo.

According to Athletiko, the American guard has signed a one-year contract worth €350,000 plus bonuses.

Alen Smailagic agrees to join Galatasaray

According to Meridian Sport, Alen Smailagic has reached an agreement with Galatasaray, where he will play under head coach Gianmarco Pozzecco.

The move brings an end to the Serbian big man’s one-year stint with Virtus Bologna.

During the 2025-26 EuroLeague season, Smailagic averaged 7.4 points and 2.5 rebounds in 16 minutes per game for the Italian side.

According to Chema De Lucas, Mac McClung is in negotiations with FIATC Girona.

Maxima Roma reach agreement with Vernon Carey Jr.

Maxima Roma continue to build their roster for the 2026-27 season. According to Superbasket, the Rome-based club have reached an agreement with Vernon Carey Jr., a 2001-born center from Miami, bringing the number of foreign players on the roster to five.

Carey played college basketball at Duke before spending time in the NBA with the Charlotte Hornets and Washington Wizards. During the 2025-26 season, he appeared in a few G League games with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, averaging 8.1 points and 3.4 rebounds.

Obradoiro has bolstered its frontcourt by adding Efe Abogidi to the roster.

The Nigerian center joins the team following a tenure with the G League’s Rio Grande Valley Vipers, where he showed good potential on both ends of the floor, averaging 13 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1 block per game, while shooting 51% from the field, 34% from three-point range and 70% from the free-throw line.

Before joining the Vipers, Abogidi spent two seasons with G League Ignite, gaining valuable experience in the former NBA development program.

KK Cibona announced the signing of Khalif Battle, with the American guard joining the Croatian club on a one-year contract.

Nemanja Nedovic rules out Crvena Zvezda return: “That story is over”

Nemanja Nedovic will not return to Crvena Zvezda. The Serbian veteran guard, who spent last season on loan and was still formally under contract with the Belgrade club, made it clear on the Kole Point podcast that a comeback to Red Star is not an option.

Nedovic said the situation had already changed last summer after he signed a two-year deal with the club. “Something changed in June, within a month. Everything would have been fine if they had just told me: we are thinking in another direction, thank you for everything. Instead, they were telling me one story and doing another,” he said.

The player was firm about his future: “It is not an option this year for me to return to Red Star. If someone shows you even a tiny bit of disrespect once, they will do it a second time. Maccabi are now waiting for Theis’ official release from ASVEL, where he had signed earlier this summer and is expected to leave because of the French club’s financial difficulties. The Israeli club reportedly moved quickly after high-profile players became available from Villeurbanne, offering Theis the starting center role.

Napoli Basketball announces the signing of Jahmi’us Ramsey for the 2026–2027 season. Born in Arlington, Texas, in 2001, Ramsey is a 191 cm (6’3″) shooting guard.

A product of Texas Tech University, he scored 15 points and 6 rebounds per game during the 2019–2020 NCAA season. He was selected by Sacramento Kings with the 43rd overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. In his rookie NBA season, he appeared in 15 games, averaging 3.5 points and 0.9 rebounds per contest. The 2025–2026 campaign marked his first experience in European basketball, as he joined Pallacanestro Trieste in Italy’s Serie A. Ramsey averaged 19.3 points per game, finishing as the league’s leading scorer while helping Trieste reach the playoffs. He also made his Basketball Champions League debut, averaging 17.9 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. His excellent performances earned him another selection to the USA National Team for the FIBA AmeriCup, where he averaged 10.0 points per game.
