Balkan Botevgrad has announced the signings of Darnelle Edge and Ulrich Chomche.
The experienced point guard joins the Bulgarian club after an excellent season with Dziki Warsaw, with whom he won the European North Basketball League title. In the championship game against Manchester Basketball, Edge scored 18 points while adding 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Overall in the competition, he averaged 11.7 points on 38.1% three-point shooting, along with 3.8 assists and 1.2 steals per game.
In the Polish League, Edge played a key role in Dziki Warsaw’s quarterfinal victory over Trefl Sopot, averaging 18.0 points, 5.5 assists and 1.8 steals per game.
Chomche is a 20-year-old Cameroonian big man who made his NBA debut with the Toronto Raptors in the 2024/25 season. During the same season, he averaged 8.0 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.9 blocks per game with Toronto’s G League affiliate.
