Partizan Belgrade have completed another signing ahead of the 2026-27 season. According to Nova.rs, the Serbian club has reached an agreement with Ethan Thompson, who will leave the Indiana Pacers to sign a one-year contract with an option for a second season.
A member of the Puerto Rico national team, Thompson is a shooting guard who arrives in Europe after spending most of his professional career between the NBA and the G League.
After going undrafted, the 26-year-old earned opportunities with the Chicago Bulls, Miami Heat, and Orlando Magic organizations before eventually finding a role with the Indiana Pacers.
Thompson joined Indiana in December and made his NBA debut against the Cleveland Cavaliers on December 1, scoring his first NBA points in the fourth quarter.
He went on to appear in 32 games for the Pacers, making 13 starts, while posting a career-high 24 points against the Chicago Bulls on 8-of-15 shooting.
The move marks Thompson’s first experience in European basketball, where he is expected to play a key role for Partizan in both the EuroLeague and the ABA League.
