Glint Körfez Basket has officially strengthened its roster by signing Matt Mitchell from Bahçeşehir Koleji ahead of the 2026-27 season.
Born in 1999 and standing 1.98 meters (6-foot-6), Mitchell developed at San Diego State before beginning his professional career in Europe. He spent two seasons with Beşiktaş between 2022 and 2024, earned a move to Žalgiris Kaunas, and joined Bahçeşehir Koleji last summer.
During the 2025-26 campaign, the American forward averaged 5.8 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists in the Turkish Basketball Super League, while posting 7.1 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game in the EuroCup.
Mitchell now begins a new chapter with Glint Körfez Basket, adding versatility and top-level European experience to the club’s frontcourt.
