Morin has suited up for Le Mans, Nanterre 92, Champagne Châlons-Reims, SIG Strasbourg, and Chorale Roanne in France. He also spent time in Spain with UCAM Murcia, averaging 7.4 points and 5.7 rebounds across 10 Liga ACB appearances, before continuing his career in Japan with the Akita Northern Happinets and Toyama Grouses. Most recently, he returned to Spain to play for Joventut Badalona.

Phoenix head coach Josh King welcomed the signing:

“We’re really excited to have someone of Yannis’s calibre join our team. We prioritize versatile players who defend well and can score at different levels, and he gives us exactly that. His ability to play both the four and the five provides great flexibility, while his international experience will be invaluable for our younger players.”

A former French youth international, Morin represented his country at both the FIBA U16 and U18 European Championships. He joins the Phoenix as the club’s third import for the upcoming NBL27 campaign.
