Crvena Zvedza strengthens the frontcourt with the signing of Marko Simonovic.
The Montenegrin big man was released by the Chicago Bulls a few days ago.
Simonovic failed to work his way into coach Donovan’s rotation (16 total games in two years) and played mostly in the G League with the Windy City Bulls (14.8 PPG, 9.9 RPG, 1.9 APG, 51% FG, 36% 3P, 77% FT).
The big man signed a two-year contract with the Serbian team.

After the sensational deal with Kostas Sloukas, Panathinaikos has joined the race to sign another Euroleague star, Nikola Mirotic, according to a reports from Moses Barda.
The forward will leave Barcelona once the contract issue is settled.
The Israeli reporter lists also AS Monaco and Olympiacos among the teams interested in Mirotic.

Besiktas Istanbul has announced the signing of Angel Delgado for the 2023-24 season. Delgado (2.08 meters, 28 years old) last played for fellow Turkish team Pinar Karsiyaka, where he averaged 11.6 points, 8.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists as his team reached the Turkish League Finals.
Guard Xavier Munford has signed a contract with Hapoel Vegan Friendly Tel Aviv for the following two seasons.
Munford, a 31-year-old player with a height of 1.93 meters, was crucial to Hapoel’s journey to the quarterfinals of the 2017 EuroCup. Over the course of 19 EuroCup games, he averaged 15.1 points on 42.5% three-point shooting, 3.9 rebounds, and 3.4 assists. In terms of scoring, he came in seventh.
Guard Tarik Phillip will stay with the London Lions for another season, the team announced on Friday. In the preseason, Phillip (1.90 meters, 29 years old) sustained a knee injury that prevented him from playing in the 2022–23 EuroCup. For the final seven games of the British League, he rejoined the squad and contributed 6.0 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.9 assists to the Lions’ championship victory.

Paris Basketball announced on Thursday that it had bolstered its frontcourt by bringing in center Michael Kessens. Kessens (2.06 meters, 32 years old), who is coming from Telekom Baskets Bonn, played there under Tuomas Iisalo, the head coach at the moment. In games played in the German League last year, when he assisted his team in winning the Basketball Champions League championship, he averaged 4.8 points and 4.3 rebounds.
Kessens, who was born in Geneva, Switzerland, was raised by the French side Cholet Basket.
