Panathinaikos, Giannakopoulos-Ataman meeting cancelled

Dimitris Giannakopoulos and Ergin Ataman will not meet today, despite a meeting initially being scheduled to discuss the coach’s future.

According to Sport24, the meeting between the Panathinaikos AKTOR owner and the Turkish coach has been cancelled. Ataman will go directly to team practice.

The Greens’ session is scheduled to take place at Agios Thomas arena in Maroussi, as Panathinaikos prepares for the rest of the Greek season.

Earlier, Giannakopoulos posted a social media message backing Ataman: “Whoever forgets these moments and ends up discrediting people and situations is unworthy of saying they love our team.”
