James Wiseman reportedly offered to Maccabi Tel Aviv

According to Tomer Givati of Israel Hayom, big man James Wiseman has been offered to Maccabi Tel Aviv.

The former No. 2 overall pick of the 2020 NBA Draft is coming off two injury-plagued seasons with the Indiana Pacers.

After returning to the court in March with Team USA for two Americas World Cup Qualifiers games, Wiseman is reportedly considering a move to Europe in order to play more consistently.

For now, the Israeli club is said to be evaluating his profile.

Clearly, it would be a move with both significant upside and considerable risk. Wiseman has at times failed to impress because of the attitude he displayed on the court, but he remains a 25-year-old player with physical and athletic tools that would be extraordinary by European basketball standards.
