NBA Europe is a project that continues to gain credibility and make progress. A clear sign of this is the recent trip made by Adam Silver and Mark Tatum, NBA commissioner and deputy commissioner respectively, to the United Kingdom.

According to Marc Stein, a meeting took place between the two NBA executives and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer. The purpose of the meeting was reportedly to explore the possibility of launching a new European league.

Adam Silver and Mark Tatum also met with U.S. Ambassador to the UK Warren Stephens, private equity giants KKR and CVC, investment firm RedBird Capital Partners, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Abu Dhabi, and representatives from Galatasaray.

Maccabi Tel Aviv, Partizan and Fenerbahce among teams interested in Jeff Dowtin Jr

According to Tomer Givati, at least three EuroLeague teams are pursuing Jeff Dowtin Jr., a combo guard who has decided to continue his career in Europe after spending several seasons on the fringes of the NBA.

Maccabi Tel Aviv, Partizan, and Fenerbahce have opened talks with the player’s representatives. Last season, Dowtin Jr. averaged 7 points and 1.9 assists over 41 games with the Philadelphia 76ers.

At the moment, the Israeli club is reportedly in the lead, thanks to a lucrative two-year offer.

Also last season, Dowtin Jr. dominated the G League, putting up 24.6 points (on 51% shooting from the field, 43% from three, and 75% from the line) and 4.1 assists per game for the Delaware Blue Coats.

Kay Bruhnke is officially a new player of Rytas Vilnius, as announced by the Lithuanian club.

The 24-year-old German forward has signed a 1+1 contract.

Nikola Vucevic’s journey in the NBA may have come to an end. The Montenegrin center no longer seems to attract interest from franchises in the world’s most prestigious basketball league.

As we reported earlier this morning, Jake Fischer stated that the Chicago Bulls — who have been trying to trade the player for a year — could now consider offering the Montenegrin a buyout to get out of his contract (next season Vucevic could earn $21.481.481).

Dubai Basketball has finalized the roster for the club’s historic debut in the EuroLeague with the signing of Filip Petrusev.

The Serbian forward-center has agreed to a three-year deal through 2028. The 25-year-old joins from Olympiacos, though he spent last season on loan with Crvena Zvezda.

Petrusev had an excellent EuroLeague campaign in 2024/25, averaging 14.1 points and 4.9 rebounds in just 21 minutes per game.

According to Stein, the contract includes an NBA-out clause valid until August 1, with a predetermined buyout should Walker receive an offer from an NBA team.
