Baltimore native Justin Lewis is a modern, versatile, powerful, and explosive forward. He developed his game at Marquette University, where in the 2021–22 season he averaged 16.8 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 1.7 assists, earning Big East Conference Most Improved Player honors before declaring for the 2022 NBA Draft.
Undrafted, Lewis signed a two-way contract with the Chicago Bulls, but an injury slowed his progression. The following season, he returned to the G League with the Windy City Bulls and later the Salt Lake City Stars (2023–24). To gain further experience, he played in the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) with the Calgary Surge, averaging 13.5 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game, shooting 38% from three. Last season, he split time in the G League between the Salt Lake City Stars and the Delaware Blue Coats, averaging 8.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists with a 36% three-point percentage.
Lewis has chosen Limoges CSP to launch his professional career in Europe, strengthening the frontcourt as a stretch-four capable of spacing the floor. A promising player, strong defender, and boasting an impressive 7’1” wingspan (2.16 m), he will bring his skills to Dario Gjergja’s squad.
Statements:
-
Crawford Palmer: “Justin comes to Limoges CSP to play a key role at power forward. A great athlete who can stretch defenses with his three-point shooting, he’s a versatile player who will help us on both ends of the floor. While he’ll need to adapt to European basketball, he has a strong work ethic and a physical profile well-suited to our league. Together with Kenny Baptiste, Nikola Jovanovic, and Gavin Ware, we should have a very strong frontcourt.”
-
Dario Gjergja: “I’m very happy to welcome Justin to our team. We hope he will quickly find his place, bring all his qualities, and help us achieve our goals. Welcome to Limoges, Justin!”
-
Justin Lewis: “I’m excited to officially join Limoges CSP — a club with great history and some of the best fans in Europe. I’m ready to get to work and give everything I have for this city!”
