According to Andrea Calzoni, Virtus Bologna reached a verbal agreement with Kai Jones.
The player has been granted a few more days to pursue opportunities in the NBA, but there is optimism within the “V-Nere” about his arrival in Italy.
Yesterday, we first reported on the ongoing negotiations between Bologna and the former NBA first-round pick. Jones finished last season with the Dallas Mavericks, making the most of a series of frontcourt injuries to produce 11.4 points and 6.6 rebounds in 21 minutes per game, shooting an outstanding 83% from the field.
An elite-level athlete by European standards, coach Dusko Ivanovic could be the right person to put to rest any off-court concerns surrounding him.
