Besiktas expect Dusan Alimpijevic to stay, says Özkan Arseven

Dusan Alimpijevic’s future remains a key topic for Besiktas. Club basketball executive Özkan Arseven discussed the situation in an interview with HT Spor.

Arseven explained that the coach has an option-based contract for next season and a buyout clause in case of an offer from a EuroLeague team: “If he receives an offer from a EuroLeague club, he has the right to leave for a €150,000 buyout.”

The Besiktas official, however, said he does not expect the Serbian coach to leave: “I don’t think Dusan Alimpijevic will use that right. He loves Besiktas and Istanbul very much, so I believe our coach will stay.”
