“Olimpia Milano monitoring Fontecchio.” That is the headline chosen today by ANSA in its report on the official signing of Jason Burnell by the Italian club.
The news agency also recalls a recent market detail: head coach Peppe Poeta and Simone Fontecchio were together on the Greek island of Paros for the wedding of former Olimpia Milano forward Bruno Cerella.
Not only that. Poeta was also pictured in a photo with the caption “I love him”, referring to Fontecchio, which ANSA interpreted as “a clear sign of Milano’s intentions in the transfer market.”
Simone Fontecchio therefore remains one of the biggest names linked with Olimpia Milano, which continues to build its roster after announcing the signing of Jason Burnell.
