Maxi Kleber appears ready to return to Europe after nine NBA seasons. According to BasketNews, the 34-year-old German forward-center is actively exploring the European market, with the EuroLeague emerging as the most likely destination for the next chapter of his career.

Kleber finished the 2025-26 season with the Los Angeles Lakers after spending eight years with the Dallas Mavericks, helping Dallas reach the 2024 NBA Finals.

He averaged 2.0 points and 2.0 rebounds in 11 minutes per game last season. Before moving to the NBA, Kleber played for Würzburg, Obradoiro, and Bayern Munich, earning All-EuroCup Second Team honors during the 2016-17 campaign.
