Cameron Hunt is close to joining Unicaja Malaga as the Spanish club moves forward in negotiations for the 2026-27 season.
According to La Opinión de Málaga, the deal is entering its final stages. Hunt still has one year left on his contract with Joventut Badalona, but his agreement includes a $200,000 buyout clause, around €175,000, which Unicaja is willing to pay.
The American guard, who had also been on Virtus Bologna’s radar, has reportedly placed Malaga at the top of his preferences. Last season with Joventut, he averaged 15.6 points, 1.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists in ACB, plus 13.3 points, 1.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists in BCL.
