Before the game, Phoenix also announced Devin Booker will be sidelined for at least one week due to a right hip strain sustained Thursday against the San Antonio Spurs. Brooks logged only seven minutes versus Orlando, posting 5 points and 3 rebounds before the injury.
Brooks has been a key piece for playoff-contending Phoenix, averaging 21.2 points and 3.7 rebounds, while Booker is at 24.7 points, 6.1 assists and 3.9 rebounds across 44 games. The Suns sit at 33-24, building a new identity under first-year coach Jordan Ott, with a young core featuring Jalen Green, Collin Gillespie, Mark Williams and Ryan Dunn.
