Lonzo Ball has jokingly denied reports suggesting that he has retired from basketball. The point guard, currently a free agent, responded on social media to a comment about his alleged retirement, making it clear that he remains interested in continuing his NBA career.
“I retired? News to me lol cuz I’m still waiting for a call… NBA season long,” Ball wrote.
The 28-year-old guard therefore reiterated that he is still available for an NBA team as the new season approaches, using an ironic response to dismiss the retirement speculation.
