Injuries continue to plague Joe Mazzulla’s squad. Just as the Boston Celtics were enthusiastically celebrating Jayson Tatum’s return to the court, news broke that has dampened the mood at TD Garden: Nikola Vucevic is sidelined with a right-hand injury.
According to ESPN sources, the Montenegrin center will undergo surgery this Saturday to repair a fractured right ring finger. The injury is expected to keep him out for approximately one month, forcing Vucevic to miss the remainder of the regular season.
