Following Spain’s EuroBasket 2025 exit against Greece, Sergio Scariolo coached his last game with the national team and was applauded during his final press conference.
“Congratulations to Greece, they have an incredible team,” he said. “I’m proud of my players, they fought back from -15 with great energy and competitiveness.”
Highlighting Spain’s young talent, Scariolo closed a historic chapter: “My time with Spain was a love story. From now on, I’ll be their first fan.”
