La Laguna Tenerife defeated Surne Bilbao Basket 108-99 in overtime to claim the Costa Adeje Tenerife Top Training Trophy in their penultimate preseason game.
Jaka Lakovic’s team, without Bruno Fitipaldo and Xabi López-Arostegui due to load management, had six players finish in double figures in both scoring and efficiency. After trailing by six points with three minutes remaining in regulation, Tenerife fought back to force overtime at 93-93 before taking control in the extra period.
TJ Bamba and Vince Hunter made several key plays in overtime, while Jaime Fernández led the offense with 16 points. Nate Darling was Bilbao’s top scorer with 22 points, followed by Krampelj’s 20.
