The General Assembly of the National Basketball League met this Wednesday, May 27, 2020 by videoconference, a first in the history of the institution since its creation in 1987. All the members were present and were called to vote on several resolutions all of which were by a large majority.
The General Assembly decided that the 2019-20 season is cancelled, the 2020-21 season is a new season with 18 teams in Jeep® ELITE and 18 in PRO B without promotion or relegation.
“Except in exceptional circumstances”, Jeep ELITE and Pro-B matches will not be played behind closed doors in 2020/21.
