The 26-year-old guard is set to return to Turkey

According to multiple Turkish media outlets, Javon Freeman-Liberty has reached an agreement with Bursaspor ahead of the 2026-27 season.

The 26-year-old guard is set to return to Turkey after a brief previous stint with Manisa. At Bursaspor, he is expected to form the team’s backcourt alongside Taylor.

Freeman-Liberty split last season between Australia’s NBL and Canada’s CEBL. With the Brisbane Bullets, he averaged 13.4 points, 3.4 assists, and 1.7 steals per game, before starring for the Montreal Alliance in the CEBL, where he posted 20.9 points and 5.6 assists per contest.
