Eugene German joins Hapoel Tel Aviv

Hapoel Tal Aviv announced the signing of guard Eugene German to a contract until the end of the 2026/27 season.

German (28, 1.83 m) comes to Hapoel after starting the 2025/26 season with the Beijing Ducks of the Chinese League, where he averaged 18.3 points, 3.1 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game, while shooting 54.2% from two and 40.1% from three. After the end of the season in China, he moved to Indios de Mayas of the Puerto Rican League, where he made eight appearances with averages of 17.4 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game, on 43.5% from the field and 30.5% from long range.
