According to Superbasket, Maxima Roma has reached an agreement with Hunter Tyson to strengthen their frontcourt.
The 26-year-old power forward was still a free agent after spending three seasons with the Denver Nuggets, who selected him No. 37 overall in the 2023 NBA Draft.
A solid three-point shooter, Tyson also played for the Gigantes de Carolina in the BSN last season, averaging 14.3 points (48% FG, 39% 3P, 79% FT) and 4.8 rebounds in 28 minutes per game.
The former Clemson standout is expected to replace Vernon Carey in coach Cotelli’s rotation.
