The American forward joins after seven NBA seasons with the Clippers, Bucks and Suns

Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv announced the signing of Amir Coffey for the 2026-27 season. The 29-year-old, 2.01-meter American forward moves to Israel after seven seasons in the NBA.

Coffey played for the Los Angeles Clippers, Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns, making 369 regular-season NBA appearances. He averaged 6.2 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.1 assists, shooting 52.8% from two-point range and 38.2% from three.

Sports director George Hinas described Coffey as an experienced and well-known NBA player who can help the club pursue domestic titles and build on last season’s successful EuroLeague campaign. Head coach Dimitris Itoudis highlighted the newcomer’s experience and size.
