Olimpia Milano officially said goodbye to Shavon Shields, ending a six-season run with the club. Milano highlighted his impact in red and white, from becoming the club’s all-time leading scorer in EuroLeague to winning ten trophies.
Shields was one of the defining players of Olimpia Milano’s recent era: a key figure in the Final Four season, championship MVP and a technical leader even through difficult moments, including two serious injuries during his time with the club.
The farewell also recalled the Triplete celebration and the ovation at Arco della Pace. “All great stories come to an end sooner or later. Shavon Shields’ story, however, will continue beyond his time in Milan, unforgettable,” Olimpia wrote.
