Baskonia could be searching “urgently” for a center following Alex Len’s foot injury. According to Encestando, the Spanish club may have also informed Frisch before the Spanish Super Cup that he should leave on loan.
The report claims that around 30 teams could have been interested in a potential loan move for the player in July, while finding a suitable destination would now be more difficult with the start of the season approaching. Baskonia could therefore be forced to turn to the market to reinforce its frontcourt.
The situation would be particularly pressing ahead of Thursday’s game against Olympiacos, with the team potentially facing the EuroLeague matchup without an established interior rotation.
