Miami’s star frontcourt pairing has struggled during the team’s 0-4 start. The Heat have been heavily outscored whenever both players share the court.

The partnership between Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bam Adebayo has emerged as a major concern for the Miami Heat early this season. Through their first four games, Miami has been outscored by 31.6 points per 100 possessions when the two stars share the floor.

With both players on the court, the Heat have posted a 101.3 offensive rating and a 132.9 defensive rating, resulting in a -31.6 net rating.

Miami has opened the 2026-27 season with four straight losses, its first 0-4 start since 2008-09. In Monday’s 113-109 loss to Dallas, Giannis recorded his first triple-double with the Heat, finishing with 29 points, 15 rebounds and 11 assists. Adebayo, meanwhile, scored just eight points on 3-of-10 shooting and grabbed eight rebounds.
