The Oklahoma City Thunder will be without Jalen Williams and Cason Wallace for extended periods. Both players will undergo surgery after injuries suffered against the Clippers.
Williams suffered a fractured fibula and dislocated left ankle, while Wallace sustained a torn labrum in his left shoulder. Timelines will be determined after surgery, but both injuries typically require several months of rehabilitation.
“We’ll wrap our arms around these guys,” Sam Presti said. “We’ve got a lot of basketball in front of us and we have to figure out the next steps.” Their availability for the remainder of the season is now in doubt.
