Jaylen Brown’s camp denies trade-demand report: “10000% a lie”

Jaylen Brown’s camp has strongly denied reports that he demanded a trade from the Boston Celtics. A representative for Brown called the claim “10000% a lie.”

Brian Scalabrine had said Brown requested a trade and presented Boston with a list of demands, while also hoping to land in Milwaukee. Brown’s representative said he never asked to be traded to the Bucks and only requested input on his destination after Boston informed him he would be moved anyway.

The only other request Brown reportedly made while in Boston was for equal treatment with Jayson Tatum. Scalabrine later walked back his comments, acknowledging Brown did not “technically demand to be traded.”
