Myles Turner ha usato parole durissime per descrivere il rapporto tra giocatori e arbitri NBA, parlando al podcast Game Rec Game.
Il lungo ha paragonato i direttori di gara alla polizia: «The refs are like the police. If you fck with one of them, you fck with all of them».
Secondo Turner, gli arbitri tenderebbero a fare gruppo dopo eventuali tensioni con un giocatore: «They band together, and it’s like, ‘Nah, he’s not getting no calls’».
Dichiarazioni destinate a far discutere, soprattutto in una fase in cui il tema dell’arbitraggio NBA è già al centro del dibattito tra giocatori, lega e tifosi.
