One of the big fears is how insulated the Melbourne basketball community is; guys are working out with each other all the time, and some share gyms, trainers, physios, etc. Players who went to Boomers workouts might have also gone to training sessions with NBL teams.

How does this affect the next NBL season? I don’t think this specific news matters in the long run (notwithstanding potential individual health factors). I’m more concerned about the how VIC is currently positioned, and the potential for second and third waves in other states.
