L’Umana Reyer è lieta di comunicare la firma dell’accordo di collaborazione con il Club croato Kosarkaski Klub Stoja Pula che entra così a far parte del Progetto Reyer. Salgono dunque a 41 le società aderenti di cui 2 sono croate: il Košarkaški klub “Flumen Sancti Viti” di Rijeka e appunto il Club di Pola.
Il KK Stoja Pula è stato fondato nel maggio 1976 e sin dalle origini il focus principale era il settore giovanile di cui è diventato un punto di riferimento per l’Istria e in generale per la Croazia. La mission della società è l’introduzione alla pallacanestro e il reclutamento per allargare la base di praticanti. Oltre alla propria attività sportiva, il Club croato ha intrapreso un progetto con tutte le scuole elementari di Pola grazie a cui ha potuto sviluppare una propria scuola di introduzione alla pallacanestro. Quest’anno ad esempio, grazie a questo progetto, circa una sessantina di piccoli atleti (i più grandi sono classe 2012) lavorano costantemente con gli istruttori per sviluppare le proprie “basketball skills”.
Il KK Stoja Pula ha 8 categorie di squadre dal minibasket fino all’under 19 con 130 ragazzi facenti parte del settore giovanile. In questo momento la squadra più forte è il gruppo under 17 che ha disputato grandi stagioni in passato e quest’anno mira a raggiungere le final four del campionato. Inoltre, il Club ha due squadre competitive categorie under 13 e under 15 mentre, a livello femminile, ha un accordo di collaborazione con un’altra società locale dove le ragazze del minibasket crescono poi nel settore giovanile.

Siamo felici di far parte del progetto orogranata e della famiglia Reyer perché è un Club di grande rispetto con tanta storia e risultati molto importanti. Credo che il legame con Reyer porterà grandi benefici a noi perché abbiamo voglia di crescere e il confronto e lo scambio di conoscenze sarà molto utile”.
Mauro Sartori, responsabile scouting dell’Umana Reyer: “Continua il nostro viaggio verso l’allargamento degli orizzonti territoriali del nostro progetto. Con ilKK Stoja Pula condividiamo gli stessi valori e la visione del programma orientato alle nuove generazioni. E’ gratificante incontrare un Club come quello di Pola che accetta da subito con disponibilità ed entusiasmo di entrare a far parte del Progetto Reyer. Umana Reyer is glad to announce the agreement with the Croatian Kosarkaski Klub Stoja Pula which thus becomes part of the Reyer Project. Therefore, the member clubs rise to 41, two of them are Croatian: the Košarkaški klub “Flumen Sancti Viti” of Rijeka and the club of Pula indeed.
KK Stoja Pula was founded in May 1976 and from the beginning the main focus was on the youth sector which the club has become a benchmark for Istria and Croatia more in general. The mission of the company is the introduction to basketball and recruitment to broaden the players base. In addition to the sporting activity, the Croatian club has undertaken a project with all primary schools in Pula thanks to which it has been able to develop its own basketball introductory school. This year, for example, thanks to this project, around sixty little athletes (the older ones were born in 2012) are constantly working with the coaches to develop their own basketball skills.
KK Stoja Pula has 8 categories of teams from minibasket up to under 19 with 130 youths being part of the youth sector. At the moment the strongest team is the under 17 group which has played great seasons in the past and this year aims to reach the final four of the championship. Furthermore, the club has two competitive teams in the under 13 and under 15 categories while, at the women’s level, it has a collaboration agreement with another local club where the girls from minibasket then grow up in the youth sector.
