The Toronto Raptors have finalized the signing of Will Barton, Shams Charania reports.

The Canadian team is releasing Juancho Hernangomez to free up a roster spot for Barton.

 

 

Bulls waive Goran Dragic

The Chicago Bulls have announced the release of Goran Dragic.

The veteran Slovenian point guard retains his playoff eligibility should he sign with another team.

Dragic produced 6.4 points and 2.7 assists in 51 games played with the Bulls.

 

Knicks sign Duane Washington Jr to a Two-Way deal

The New York Knicks announced the arrival of Duane Washington Jr on a Two-Way Contract.

The former Ohio State guard had started the season as a Two-Way Player for the Phoenix Suns (7.9 points and 2 assists per game, a career-high of 26 points and 7 assists against the Grizzlies).

According to Bobby Marks, Washington Jr will be eligible to play 12 regular season games.

 

 

Bucks co-owner Marc Lasry agrees to sell his team stake to Browns owner

Milwaukee Bucks co-owner Marc Lasry has an agreement to sell his stake in the Bucks to Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam and Haslam Sports Group.

The valuation would be $3.5 billion.

Edens and Lasry bought the Bucks from Herb Kohl in 2014 for $550 million.

Quin Snyder expected to sign multi-year deal with Hawks

According to Shams Charania, the negotiation between Atlanta Hawks and Quin Snyder is now in the final stages.

The former Utah Jazz coach is expected to sign a multi-year deal around $8 million per season to lead  the team.

Snyder produced a record of 372 wins and 264 losses in eight years on the Jazz bench, reaching the Western Conference Finals in 2021.

Bucks sign Meyers Leonard to a 10-day deal

The Milwaukee Bucks have announced the arrival of Meyers Leonard on a 10-day contract.

The Illinois product has appeared in 447 games with Portland and Miami across nine seasons and holds career averages of 5.6 points and 3.9 rebounds in 16.0 minutes per game.

Wizards agree to buyout with Will Barton

Will Barton and the Washington Wizards have reached an agreement on a buyout, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

Barton has until March 1 to sign with another team without losing his playoff eligibility.

Washington will use the roster spot freed up by the guard to convert Jordan Goodwin’s Two-Way contract.

The Saint Louis product is scoring 6.3 points per game with 3.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists and one steal.

Kevin Love set to sign for Miami

Kevin Love plans to sign with the Miami Heat after clearing waivers, his agent, Jeff Schwartz, told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Former Cavs’ expectation is that he can play a sizable role in the Heat’s frontcourt rotation as they push into the Eastern Conference playoffs. Love also talked with the Philadelphia 76ers. In addition to the planned acquisition of Love, the Heat are also planning to sign free agent veteran center Cody Zeller on Monday, sources told Wojnarowski.

The Miami Heat have emerged as the favorites to sign Kevin Love, reports Shams Charania.

The former UCLA big man has yet to agree on a buyout with the Cleveland Cavs.

Before falling out of Coach Bickerstaff’s rotation, Love was scoring 8.5 points with 6.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game.

 

Nate Darling signs Two-Way deal with Clippers

The LA Clippers have signed Ontario Clippers guard Nate Darling to a two-way contract. Darling, 24, has appeared in 20 games with 10 starts for the Ontario Clippers this season, averaging 21.4 points and 3.7 rebounds while shooting 46.4% from the field.

The Delaware product will replace Moses Brown, who was released after reaching the game limit for a Two-Way player.

The Boston Celtics have announced the promotion of Joe Mazzulla, who becomes the 19th head coach in franchise history.

Mazzulla took over the team’s reins as interim coach at the beginning of the season after Ime Udoka’s suspension.

With him at the helm, the Celtics have won 42 of 59 games played, the league’s best record ahead of the Milwaukee Bucks and Denver Nuggets.

Mazzulla signed a contract extension.

The guard, who will participate in the dunk contest, was producing over 19 points and 4 assists per game in the G League with the Delaware Blue Coats.

McClung will replace Justin Champaigne.

 

Sixers to sign Dewayne Dedmon

The Philadelphia 76ers plan to sign center Dewayne Dedmon to a contract for the remainder of the season, reports ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Dedmon was recently waived the San Antonio Spurs.

The Spurs acquired Dedmon from the Miami Heat in a salary-reducing trade for Miami. San Antonio received a second-round pick in exchange for eating Dedmon’s $4.7 million salary for this season.
