Lakers, D’Angelo Russell reportedly have mutual interest in contract extension

The Ohio State product is in the final year of the four-year, 117-plus million dollar deal signed before the 2019-20 season

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Los Angeles Lakers and D’Angelo Russell are interested in starting negotiations for an extension.

Russell last night scored 21 points with 7 assists in his return to Crypto.com Arena as the Lakers defeated the Pelicans 120-102.
