AEK Athens signs Gian Clavell

Gian Clavell is a new player of AEK Athens, as announced by the Greek club.

The Puerto Rican guard has signed a contract through the end of the season.

Clavell arrives from Romanian side Valcea, where he scored a total of 53 points across two FIBA Europe Cup games. Earlier this year, he played 13 games in the BSN with the Piratas de Quebradillas, averaging 14.8 points per contest.

Chase Audige reportedly close to join Unicaja

Unicaja Malaga is close to finalizing the signing of Chase Audige, according to Chema de Lucas.

The 26-year-old American guard, who also holds a Jamaican passport, started the season with KK Bosna, averaging 12.1 points and 2.1 steals per game across the ABA League and FIBA Europe Cup.

Zeljko Obradovic officially resigns from Partizan

Zeljko Obradovic has resigned from his position as coach of Partizan. The news was first reported by the Serbian website Mozzart, which has close ties to the Belgrade club, and was then confirmed by the coach himself in an open letter posted on the club’s social media accounts.

Last night, Partizan lost its seventh game in the last eight EuroLeague matches. The 91-69 defeat against his former club led the Serbian guru to resign from his position with the black-and-white club.

Zeljko Obradovic, who played for Partizan from 1984 to 1991 and coached the team at the beginning of his career from 1991 to 1993, returned to the club in 2021, narrowly missing out on the Final Four in a controversial series against Real Madrid and winning two ABA Liga titles and one national title.

Four and a half years ago I returned to my beloved club and, together with you, I started living the most beautiful dream. My wish and my goal were for our Partizan to return to the EuroLeague after ten years, and together we managed to achieve that. Pallacanestro Varese reportedly to sign Carlos Stewart

Pallacanestro Varese is ready to close its second transfer deal: Carlos Stewart, a 22-year-old, 185 cm tall American point guard, released about ten days ago by Hamburg Towers, is on his way. This was reported by La Prealpina.

Ettore Messina has resigned from his position as head coach of Olimpia Milano. The news has just been confirmed by ROM. Club president Pantaleo Dell’Orco has appointed Peppe Poeta as his replacement.

The decision came in the past few hours after the loss in Trieste. Club president Pantaleo Dell’Orco has appointed Peppe Poeta, previously the first assistant and already the designated successor for next season.

Ettore Messina joined Olimpia Milano in 2019 and, during his time in red and white, won three Italian league titles and reached the 2021 EuroLeague Final Four, as well as lifting two Italian Cups and three Super Cups, the most recent one at the end of September.

It is currently unknown what role Messina will hold for the remainder of the season. His contract as President of Basketball Operations runs through 2026. The official statement is expected shortly.

There is a lot of tension at Maccabi Tel Aviv, Olimpia Milano’s opponent on Wednesday in the EuroLeague. Behind them is a night of passion, even after their victory over Hapoel Holon.

Xavi Pascual officially signs with Barcelona until 2028
