Virtus Bologna are set to announce an agreement with Francesco Ferrari, a 2005-born Italian prospect regarded as one of the most promising young players in the country.

The news was reported by Fabrizio Lorenzi in La Repubblica (Milan edition). Ferrari developed at College Borgomanero and gained national attention after winning the Next Gen Tournament, where he was also named MVP while playing for Olimpia Milano.

Over the past two seasons, Ferrari has been a key figure for Cividale in Serie A2, establishing himself as a consistent and reliable contributor at the professional level.

The 19-year-old guard is expected to become available to Virtus Bologna starting January 26, strengthening the club’s roster for the second half of the season.
