The Oklahoma City Thunder are set to have Jalen Williams back for Monday’s road game against the Philadelphia 76ers. The forward has been removed from the injury report after missing the last five-plus weeks because of a strained right hamstring.
It is a significant return for Williams with 11 regular-season games remaining before the playoffs. His season has been heavily disrupted by injuries, first while recovering from right wrist surgery and then because of two separate hamstring setbacks.
Williams has played only 26 games this season and is averaging 17.5 points per game. Oklahoma City are now hoping he can quickly regain rhythm, especially considering that the projected starting lineup of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Williams, Lu Dort, Chet Holmgren and Isaiah Hartenstein has appeared together only five times this year.
