Tyrese Maxey believes sacrifice, unity and consistency will be essential for the new-look Philadelphia 76ers. The franchise added LeBron James, Jaylen Brown, Anfernee Simons and Dean Wade to a group also led by Joel Embiid.
“We haven’t gotten on the court yet, so we’ll see,” Maxey told ClutchPoints’ Tomer Azarly. “Off the court, guys are communicating, pumping each other up and are also willing to sacrifice.”
Maxey said Philadelphia must turn those principles into actions throughout the season. “One day at a time, one step at a time. There will be good days and bad days, but we always want to be moving in the right direction by playoff time.”
