Luis Scola had a meeting with Pallacanestro Varese management and coach Attilio Caja today to talk about next season.
The Italian club is seriously interested in signing the Argentinean forward for next season while Scola told them that if he plays one more year, with the goal of finishing the career in Tokyo for his 5th Olympics, he will wear the jersey of Varese, a source told Sportando.
Scola has not decided yet if he will continue or retire but he assured Varese that a final answer will arrive by Saturday after talking with his family.
Varese is optimistic that Scola will play one more year and will soon talk to his agent to reach a satisfying agreement for both parties, a league source added.
