The Basketball Federation of Serbia officially named Dusan Alimpijevic as the new head coach of the men’s national team. He signed a three-year deal.
Alimpijevic will lead Serbia through the 2027 World Cup qualifiers and upcoming international competitions. Born in 1986, he is seen as part of Europe’s new wave of coaches.
Winner of the 2022 EuroCup Coach of the Year, he also gained experience in the EuroLeague. The federation praised his expertise and energy, trusting fans’ support to achieve the set goals.
