No worries for Carsen Edwards after he limped late against Treviso: it was only a glute bruise, painful at first but quickly resolved, and he is expected to be available tomorrow versus Fenerbahçe, the first game of Virtus Bologna’s two-game EuroLeague home week.
On the injury front, coach Ivanovic could have Diarra back as early as the first game, while Vildoza and Smailagic remain out; Vildoza is close, but a conservative approach could push his return to Monday’s domestic game in Cremona.
Virtus are back to .500 (11-11) after winning in Dubai, staying within one win of the play-in line, and they’re counting on a strong crowd push, with ticket sales trending toward a near sellout around 10,000.
