The French Supercup is already underway, with yesterday’s semifinals producing victories for AS Monaco and Le Mans over Boulazac and Paris Basketball, respectively.
Monaco cruised to a 95–70 win, pulling away in the final quarter behind Elie Okobo’s 15 points and 8 assists and Alpha Diallo’s 16 points on 7-for-8 shooting inside the arc. Nikola Mirotic also reached double figures with 13 points.
The other matchup was far more competitive, marking coach Tabellini’s official debut with Paris Basketball. Le Mans edged out a 90–87 victory at Roland Garros, fueled by 14-of-30 shooting from three-point range. Hudgins led the way with 19 points and 5 assists, followed by Bogues with 20 points on 4-of-5 from deep and DiLeo with 17 points, 6 rebounds, and 5-of-9 from beyond the arc.
Paris couldn’t overcome 17 turnovers despite a standout 27-point performance from Nadir Hifi and 16 points plus 5 assists from Ouattara.
