Sources: The NBA has informed teams that it anticipates that fully vaccinated players and team personnel will not be required to undergo regular coronavirus testing during 2021-22 season. Non-fully vaccinated players/personnel will undergo regular testing.

In caso di contatti con individui positivi al virus, non ci saranno quarantene o particolari restrizioni per i vaccinati. Per i non vaccinati invece, la medesima condizione pretenderà sette giorni di quarantena. Nel quotidiano, sarà obbligatoria la mascherina e il distanziamento sociale.

Se tutti i giocatori di un team saranno totalmente vaccinati, la NBA e NBPA toglieranno ogni restrizione nella vita quotidiana, come la frequentazione di bar al chiuso e clubs.
