Monty Williams è il coach of the year per la NBCA

I Suns hanno chiuso la regular season con il secondo miglior record della lega, 51 vittorie

La NBCA, l’associazione degli allenatori NBA, ha votato Monty Williams come coach of the year per questa stagione.

L’importanza del premio deriva dal fatto che a votare sono i 30 head-coach NBA.

Oltre alla guida tecnica dei Phoenix Suns, hanno ricevuto voti anche Scott Brooks, Michael Malone, Nate McMillan, Doc Rivers, Quin Snyder and Tom Thibodeau.

In due stagioni al timone dei Suns, Williams ha portato il team dal penultimo al secondo posto nella durissima Western Conference.
