Yannis Morin To Join South East Melbourne Phoenix

According to Olgun Uluc, the South East Melbourne Phoenix have signed French forward Yannis Morin to a contract for the upcoming NBL season.

The 33-year-old has previously played for Joventut Badalona and boasts extensive international experience gained in several countries.

Last season, Morin also played in Japan for the Toyama Grouses, averaging 14.8 points and 7.5 rebounds in 24 minutes per game.

The French forward/center will join the Phoenix roster alongside fellow imports Skylar Mays and D’Shawn Schwartz.

Yannis Morin has agreed to a one-year deal with the South East Melbourne Phoenix, sources told ESPN. The 6’10 forward out of France is coming off a season where he played for Badalona in the Liga ACB, as well as the Toyama Grouses in Japan.
