The Game 4 win over the Denver Nuggets comes at a huge cost for the Minnesota Timberwolves, who will be without Donte DiVincenzo for the remainder of the season due to a torn right Achilles tendon.
The guard had been playing an excellent series, totaling 30 points in the previous two wins along with 15 assists to just 3 turnovers.
The former Villanova standout will also be unable to join the Italian national team this summer and is expected to miss a significant portion of next NBA season as well.
DiVincenzo is under contract with the Timberwolves through the end of the 2026/27 season.
