The Atlanta Hawks and Buddy Hield have reached an agreement to postpone the deadline for guaranteeing the player’s contract.
According to Chris Haynes, the parties want more time to evaluate possible solutions. Hield has a salary of $9.7 million, of which $3 million is already guaranteed.
The deadline was set for today, but the postponement leaves several scenarios open regarding the shooter’s future.
