Denver Nuggets restricted free agent Spencer Jones has agreed to a two-year, $12 million offer sheet with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Denver now has 48 hours to decide whether to match the offer and retain the forward, who averaged 5.5 points and 3.3 rebounds in 22 minutes per game during last season’s regular season.
The Nuggets’ front office is dealing with a difficult salary-cap situation, which has been one of the main reasons behind the team’s relatively quiet offseason so far.
