Draymond Green was ejected in the third quarter of the Golden State Warriors’ 116-113 win over the Phoenix Suns.
With 10 minutes left in the period, Green went down in a collision with Khaman Maluach, then got up, grabbed the Suns rookie and threw him to the floor after the whistle. Officials assessed Green a first technical foul.
Dillon Brooks then stepped in to confront him, with the two grabbing each other’s jerseys before being separated. After review, both players received technical fouls, triggering Green’s automatic ejection.
It was the 31st ejection of Green’s career, including 23 in the regular season. He already has three technical fouls through six games this season.
